I sleep with an open door to the balcony, and the room smells like apples. At daytime I close it because it's getting cold while uncovered and the space fills with the smell of cooked beetroots or mushrooms or my grandma's crosswords. I like it when my mom bakes bread, it smells so sweet then, maybe it's that cup of sugar in the dough. And I always hear hissing radio as it's actually the sound of carrots and parsley being dried. That's how I look for work.
And that thing above is the mash made of pumpkin seeds, tomato, parsley and maybe some spices. It works as a sauce for my carrot and zucchini shreds. Voila, this is salad!
